Because I was wearing tight-fitting jeans, the pen pushed against the touch screen and broke it. My HTC Tilt was in my pocket along with a pen. Screen protectors work just fine.
In summation, if you are looking for good protection for your tilt, and a good fit, without spending too much money, buy this one. Some people gripe about a little bubble or glare, or stylus no gliding because the screen is a little rubbbery (which is the case here), however, you are not going to experience the full feeling of the screen with any protector. As with most pastics it picks up a lot of dust quickly on the side that sits on the phone's screen. On a side not, I purchased this because it says it came with 11, I actually got 15. I purchased this as my original had become rather scratched (I have a lot of games on my phone).
At first I though it was an error, but when I checked the packaging, it says qt is 15. So just remember clean the surface of the screen then peel and apply using squeege (included). My first try in applying one of these was tragic. This product is everything it claims to be, no surprises. Kinda my fault though.
I think for the money this is the best option out there.
On the other hand the size was perfect and it did attach it self bubble-less after 24 hours. Therefore, you had to pill it all the way making it bit more complicated and unclean. Visibility is good, no finger marks are visible thought, and tough-sensitivity is slightly worse as expected. Well, it took me four attempts to finally get it right. The backing was not split in half as you typically have it. Having so many spares in the box is defiantly a big plus once you do not have to get it right at first attempt.
The thickeness is good enough to protect from scratches, but not too thick to prevent clicks (previous protector did this), and it's hardly noticeable while on my device.With 15 in a pack, these should last me the entire life of my Tilt. The size fits my Tilt perfectly. Great item.
This is the closest one to the one that came with the new phone. The only downside is that it is a little short on the height, if you line it up with the top or bottom it leaves almost 2mm that is not covered on the opposite side. After going through about 3 other screen protectors I ordered these along with a couple of other options. It does not show all the stylus marks like the thinner ones, but is still thin enough not to make the touchscreen behave poorly.
